What Science Means at Medis
At Medis, science means understanding how the body truly absorbs and uses nutrients. Our work focuses on cellular biochemistry, natural compounds, and how biological cultures can improve nutrient uptake. Every formula we create begins in science - so every product can genuinely make a difference.
We do not produce raw ingredients ourselves. Instead, we collaborate with trusted, certified producers in Norway, Iceland, and other pristine regions. Our focus is scientific: formulation design, purity standards, natural fermentation systems, and biological mechanisms that work with, and not against your body.

Inside the Medis Laboratory in Norway
Medis Technology™ is the result of decades of research led by Sverre Paaske, developed together with medical doctors, biologists, and professors across Europe. The foundation grew from patient observation, hands-on experimentation, and a continuous curiosity about how nutrition interacts with human biochemistry.
Today, all research and product development are carried out in our own laboratory in Kongsvinger, Norway. Here, we refine absorption methods, study natural compounds, and design formulas based on how nutrients behave at a cellular level.

Our Nordic Production Process
The production of every Medis product takes place in the north of Norway, - close to the purity, nature, and research environment that define our science. Here, we combine clean Nordic ingredients with precise, biologically informed methods that protect their natural integrity.
For Medis Technology™ to function, ingredients must be clean, natural, and biologically compatible. Synthetic additives can disrupt absorption. We work only with certified natural or wild-grown inputs. Nothing artificial. Nothing unnecessary. Only pure, bioactive compounds the body can recognise and use.
Many of our herbs, mushrooms, and plants come from the Nordic Arctic and other regions with untouched nature, mineral-rich soil, pure water, and long summer light. These conditions produce resilient, potent compounds - the foundation of our formulations. Every ingredient is fully traceable and held to strict quality and purity standards.
Some of our most advanced ingredients, such as DHA, EPA, and Icelandic spirulina, are produced with exceptional environmental care. In Iceland, our microalgae partners use geothermal energy, clean water, and captured carbon to create a carbon-negative system. This results in purer microalgae, higher nutrient stability, and production methods that support both your health and the planet.
